From Salem City:

Due to the announcement that evacuees from Woodland Hills and Elk Ridge have been allowed to return to their homes, we no longer need the large warehouse space offered to us by Nebo School District. We are so grateful to the school district and their amazing employees for helping us receive and disburse our donations. They happily put in many long hours and it was truly a pleasure to work with them.

Our donation service will be relocated to Tabitha's Way at 45 E 100 N, Spanish Fork. They will continue to meet needs for those evacuees who are still displaced from their homes. Hours of operation at Tabitha's Way are Tuesday-Friday from 11 am-2 pm, also Tuesday evenings open from 6 pm -8 pm and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10 am-12 noon. In an effort to help Tabitha's Way differentiate evacuee needs from their daily services, evacuees will be asked to come prepared with ID showing a current address. You can also visit www.Tabithasway.org for further information.

Thank you to Wendy at Tabitha's Way for her continued help and support throughout our donation effort. Volunteer help will still be needed at Tabitha's Way to assist in organizing and distributing donations. The following link will currently remain on the city web page for citizens to sign up to help with this service.

We are grateful to the many, many people that came to the rescue of our friends and neighbors. Overwhelming support came to us from all over the state. It is a blessing to know that we are all here to take care of each other in time of need. We have amazing "Neighbors Helping Neighbors!"

Help for Firefighters

Firefighters from around the country came to Utah to help combat the wildfires. If you would like to donate to help with firefighting efforts here in Utah and around the country, you can donate to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.
