EVACUATION UPDATE

***Evacuation Orders Lifted for Elk Ridge and Woodland Hills Cities***

As of 9:00 a.m. on Saturday (09/22/18), the evacuation orders will be lifted for Elk Ridge and Woodland Hills Cities. The cities will move to a pre-evacuation status at that time.

As of 9:00 a.m., tomorrow morning (09/22/18), the evacuation orders for Elk Ridge and Woodland Hills cities will be lifted. At that time, citizens residing in those cities will be allowed to return to their homes. These cities will be placed on pre-evacuation status until otherwise notified. Citizens are encouraged to contact their respective cities or visit their city social media and city websites for information regarding any restrictions on activities during pre- evacuation status.

Citizens are encouraged to be orderly and patient in the process of returning to their respective cities as we anticipate a large volume of traffic for several hours.

All citizens are advised that the forest service closures surrounding Elk Ridge and Woodland Hills are still in effect and will be enforced. Additionally, there will still be fire personnel and equipment working within the cities. They may have need to enter onto private properties as they perform fire protection related services.
